And as long as they ignore/deny the truth, it will only get worse.

Ingraham: We Demand Our Elected Officials Keep America Safe
Laura Ingraham said Americans are not going to accept radical Islamist terrorist attacks like what occurred in New York City on Tuesday as the "new normal."
"When a jihadist games our immigration system, gets a green card, rents a truck, and in the name of Allah mows down innocents in a major American city, that is not nor will it ever be acceptable in the U.S.," Ingraham said on "The Ingraham Angle" tonight.
She said Americans demand that their elected officials take action to keep the U.S. safe, as President Donald Trump did when he signed executive orders on immigration and called for "extreme vetting."
"For that, he was branded as cruel and heartless. You know what's cruel and heartless? Bikers and pedestrians run over in broad daylight in a major American city. That's cruel and heartless," Ingraham said.
She said Trump's instincts about national security are correct: protect the borders, deport lawbreakers, build a wall and halt refugees from certain countries given the severity of the threat.
"President Trump was elected in large part because voters appreciated his no-nonsense pragmatism on issues like homeland security and immigration," Ingraham said. "Although we can't stop all terror attack in the United States, the safety of the American people demand that we do what we can to prevent those attacks that are preventable."
"Here at home, we should not lose one more American life because politicians don't have the nerve or the will to do what's necessary to secure the homeland. Our safety is their primary responsibility."
Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

“What are we going to do about it?”
It will become crystal clear after the 2018 mid terms what “we” will have to do.

Nothing of consequence until we properly identify the problem and are willing to pursue a remedy absent PC snivelling.

Driverless cars / autonomous vehicles are coming.
1 Terrorist 3 Cars 3 or more attacks going on at the same time
- Drive down the interstate in the wrong direction at 70+ MPH. Just to get things going.
- Drive down the street during the Boston Marathon. Running people over from behind as the vehicles goes.
- A third waiting, victims start showing up at the hospital. Here comes the the autonomous vehicle loaded up with explosives, pulls up to the emergency room drop off area....
Oh and guess what.. These won't be cars. They will be garbage trucks, city busses, cement trucks, rental box trucks. All driverless.
1 terrorist, Some malware, maybe some stolen trucks, A terrorist's delight....
Oh and the terrorist is heading to a new city once the "go" button is pushed.
Hmmm.... Disneyland on a hot summer day, Mainstreet USA.... next target...
This will happen. It is just a mater of time.

Does NY state have the death penalty? Of is there a federal statute he could be charged with that has it?

NY abolished the death penalty. I'm not sure if there is any federal crime to charge him with. He didn't target a federal facility, and he did not use a bomb or weapon of mass destruction as that term is defined. There is no federal crime that punishes domestic terrorism in and of itself.
So unfortunately I'm not seeing a death penalty availability here. Someone please tell me I'm wrong ...

Another example of crappy reporting. This time by foxnews.com.
"Witnesses describe 'dead bodies just laying there' after NYC attack"
On their behalf, perhaps the one who redacted that headline got carried away by Halloween magic. Or was as drunk as a Templar.

Yes, the FBI will take over. This was an of terrorism by a foreign national who pledged support to ISIS. He also lived in NJ and traveled across state lines to commit the act. There's probably a lot more that will come out as well.

How about we stop allowing any Muslims to immigrate to this country, regardless of where they are from. Over 2 million imported here since 9-11?! Only a nation with a suicide wish would do this. I highly recommend the book, "The Strange Death of Europe" by Douglas Murray. Europe is probably too far gone, but we certainly have a chance to turn it around in the US.

This puke of human debris is just living out what he believes.
You take away the unhinged commitment to killing anybody who doesn't convert, (beheading is preferred) the total subjugation of all of the culture, absolute dedication to everyone, everywhere, being under Sharia law, to name a few of the tenants of belief and what do you have?
Real, authentic, Biblical, Christianity
If you don't believe in the above description of dogma tenants, then you are NOT a Muslim no matter what you call yourself and ISLAM is NOT your religion.
No one has the prerogative to strip out of ANY belief system what they like and then call themselves as a believer in that system. (And then deny the ugly shit in that system, like killing "infidels")
Calling ISLAM ANYTHING else is like saying you believed in marching Jews into the ovens in death camps because you really "loved" them and lived a "peaceful" religion.
Imagine if Christ would have poisoned "Judas" at the last supper and then boasted about it? THAT IS, ISLAM today.
My challenge for you? Read the Koran for yourself, THEN comment.

Exactly. Terrorism is not a federal crime if committed on US Soil, as strange as that may seem. The statutes define "domestic terrorism" but don't assign it any criminal penalties. Using a WMD against a US civil population is a crime, as is attacking a federal facility and causing death. But this case doesn't have any of those elements.
