After retiring from my second law enforcement career finally had time to write a fiction novel. I would like to thank you all as your friendship and mentorship over the years has heavily influenced my writing.
The book is called Guardians of Rockport. It is a post apocalypse thriller where a band of military veterans, firefighters, LEOs. teachers and medics ban together to protect their community after the collapse of society. It is available on Kindle and Nook now and will be out in paperback on 5 Sept.
As a thank you I would like to Karma off a book.
Rules: Must be a member prior to June 2022. If you are a fire fighter, veteran, medical, teacher or law enforcement, mention it in the reply and your name will go in the hat twice.
Sounds good. I’m always impressed when someone campo write a book. Sounds like a daunting process to me. I’m a vet and would love a shot. Thanks and good luck.

I would be pleased. If not, I'll have to order it.
I enjoyed the "Last Gallon Trilogy" by William Belanger that Bill (BillandChristy) wrote. Made it more fun "seeing his, her and their daughter "Z"s faces in the characters of the story, having met them at a couple of SIGforum Shootemups at the Cockatoo Farm!
And the cover artwork down by "6guns" was just fitting.

While there are several characters, the main guy is a retired Air Force OSI agent and again retired as a Wisconsin State Trooper. There is also an Air Force firefighter, an Army Cavalry Scout among others.
