HornTo America's credit. This is the only nation in the world that pays honor to those Americans of the Confederacy who were Americans before that war, during that war and after that war and a few years later served in the American army in another war
in The Great War. (World War One)
There's a VFW post in LaBelle, Florida with the United States flag and the battle flag of the South side by side.
The War Between the States was more about state rights than slavery.

Weren't there four? 7, 9, 11, and 13 stars.

Prior to commanding the Army of Northern Virginia, Lee was also a graduate of, and later Commandant of, the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was one of the most outstanding Generals the United States has ever produced, and they want to erase his memory?
He was actually the 9th Superintendent of West Point, from 1852 to 1855. He graduated second in his Class of 1829.

My error, Superintendent, the commanding officer. He was also Lincoln's first choice to command the Union army, but Lee declined and went with his Virginia roots.
