Looking for a gift for my wife: hand/feet warmers
She has that disease where her fingers and toes turn white when they get cold. I was thinking a nice hand warmer and maybe foot warmer would be a nice Christmas gift. Can anyone recommend a good hand/foot warmer?

I appreciate any suggestions.

What will she use them for? Going from house to car, riding snowmobiles, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, etc?

How will she be using this? There are different types/styles depending on what she will be doing with them. Nothing is fit all situations.

There are footbeds you can put in your shoes that run off batteries. There are things like heating pads you can slide your feet in. These are made for around the house when your sitting on the couch/chair as they plugin and you can not walk in them.

Different options out there that do different things. Really matters how she will be using them.

Sorry, I should have mentioned what she will use them for. She needs them just for around the house. Maybe in the car and/or at work.

Reynaud's Syndrome? Yeah it can suck.
I got a case of these individual, single use warmers. Can't see a great deal on them right now, but I paid twenty bucks for the case, so shopping around helps. Nice to have stashed in the car or whatever. They can also be used as oxygen absorbers in food storage.

I keep several pounches of the warmers, and a few mylar disposable "space blankets" in the conole of the car in case of emergency.

Apparently Viagra also has an off label use for treatment of Reynauds/

Go to amazon and search 'Down booties'. Fantastic. Like little down coats for your feet. The ones we got have a kind of a sole but are not meant for anything but around the house.
I couldn't find the ones I got my wife, they were Sierra Designs, but there are quite a few more out there now.

Thanks for the link. Might pick up a few for presents.

My wife always heats up a cup of hot water/tea at home to hold and drink.

Reynaud's .

Little drafts make a difference. It doesn't have to actually be cold in the room really. It's the lack of blood flow that make them cold.

I do have one of those pucks above. It can be helpful. This has been good too. Headed Mousepad hood

Bonnie made a 22 inch by 9 inch warmer with 4 compartments in it out of inexpensive fabric.

you add rice to the compartments and sew them shut , then you nuke the whole thing in the micro wave ,

lay 10 inches on the ottoman or sofa and fold the other half over the top.

Bonnie is handy ,
or you can buy the same thing for $24.00 on the www

Thanks. Ordered for my wife. Won’t use them but for a few months. But during that time she’ll be quite happy.
