Swamp Thing doesn't qualify as bad cinema in my book because it's intentionally campy and the film features Barbeau's ample rack.
The truly bad films are the ones that have ambitions of being great works of art. The men and women who made Swamp Thing were laughing when they made it and that lets them off the hook.
Some film makers were ambitious and serious and made filsm so bad, they became legendary, and they are enjoyable because of their badness, not in spite of it. Ed Wood comes to mind, with films such as Plan 9 from Outer Space. If you've never seen it, make sure you watch it with friends. You'll have fun.
The films that aren't campy, aren't funny (intentionally or not) and take themselves seriously yet suck badly- these are the truly bad films.
The butcher with the sharpest knife has the warmest heart.

True it was more or less aimed at the 'Saved by the Bell' audience..... I think it would be better, if the volume was muted if watching at home but I saw it in the theater
