Guys, I needed to update my work photo with a new headshot. My old one was 20 some-odd years old and I no longer look like that guy!Big Grin

Anyway, I decided to try out an online option, called Headshot Pro where you submit ~15 selfies in 3 different settings (white backdrop, facing a window, and outside with a natural backdrop). You select the type of outfit you're going to use and the backgrounds and AI does the rest.

Because it's AI, you're going to get some pictures that look like better versions of you that you probably wouldn't want to use in a professional setting, but several looked like they came from really good professional photographer!

If any of you are need of a new headshot for work, these guys were $40 bucks well spent! Also, I am in no way affiliated with Headshot Pro, just a happy customer passing on my review to all my invisible friends!

Thread-jack alert!

What's the over/under on when an AI-mediated optic is available for retail purchase? You'd have to point the firearm in the right general direction, and the AI does the sight alignment and sight picture stuff for you. Later models might include gyros to eliminate last-split-second flinches or other sub-optimal technique. I think we will see the first of these in less than ten years. Of course the early models will suck badly, but they will only get better with time and experience.
