I am getting ready to move soon and am slowly going through stuff to pack and clean out. I came across 250 rounds of Wolf steel case .40 and 100 rounds of .45. I am sure I also have some .223 Wolf ammo, but have come across it yet.

If there are any members near Austin, TX I am willing to give this ammo to you at no cost. Other than that, how else can I get rid of this ammo? I doubt I can sell it on Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, or Craigslist.

350 rounds barely fills a .30 cal ammo can.

Take it with you

I only shoot Wolf in my AK-47. I would prefer to just give this away.

StorminNormin, if you find the .223, shoot me an email - I'm close enough to pick it up if you still work in the same place you did when you helped out Mrs. Allen, and I wouldn't mind cutting a deal for the whole pile (including .40 and .45). No hurry. Email in profile.

I had thought about that. I have all my 5.56, .22LR, and 7.62x39 ammo in ammo cans. All of my pistol ammo is in original boxes. It is crazy how much ammo weighs as I bought heavy duty totes for pistol ammo and I can only fill each tote 1/3 to be able to lift it. All ammo is going to storage until we build our home. I don’t feel like bringing this a Wolf ammo.

Any gun shows that fit into your schedule (if they have any at all)? Fashion a sign and walk around the show with a sample box. It will sell quickly.

I seriously miss going to gun shows! The main thing I usually bought was .50 cal ammo cans. Austin no longer has gun shows and it is rare close by cities have one anymore. Gotta love Austin becoming super liberal.

Ship it to me... let me know the cost of shipping for reimbursement ?

Or take it to your local PD... someone there would likely shoot it up.

No kidding. Everything I have has been accumulated over time and in out of sight areas. When I cleaned out the gun safe and had all guns laid out my wife was surprised at how many we had. Now the same with the ammo. I could only image what some anti gun owners would say if they saw it.

We own 5 acres near Bastrop and plan on building a custom home there with a mother-in-law suite for my mom. My mom has cancer and needs assistance. We are going to move out of our home in with my mom. Then we can sell our home and begin building our new home; we can’t afford our mortgage and construction loan at the same time. Then my mom will move in with us into our new home and sell her home. So in the meantime we are planning to put a lot of stuff into storage.

Thank you. This is one heck of a process as I have never done a custom home before. I am just glad we are able to try and do it in the steps we are.

I sent you an email, I ended up finding a little over 1K rounds of Wolf .223 still sealed in the plastic and in original shipping box.
