The Ukraine War is providing a real eye into the future of conflict and serves as a laboratory for countries and defense contractors. I thought this interview with a representative from Red Cat, a U.S. based “provider of advanced all-domain drone and robotic solutions for defense and national security,” was interesting. By the way, the U.S. Navy will start experimenting with new pairings of unmanned vessels and carrier strike groups this year as it tests its new tailored force approach, the service’s top surface warfare officer said.

Vice Adm. Brendan McLane told reporters here at the annual WEST conference that a medium unmanned surface vessel (USV) will deploy alongside the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt and its strike group that is set to get underway later this year.

It will be interesting to see how the world’s navies respond to the advancement of unmanned aerial vehicles and surface vessels.

I watched the video, and went through their websites. This is very interesting, and it is great to see that the USA is working hard on unmanned craft both air and sea.

They do releases on all aspects of national defense subject matter with each release focusing on a different aspect: naval, air, ground, defense technology, space. They’ll kind of overwhelm your inbox, but just a few minutes will disclose whether or not the stories are of interest to you.
