I was cleaning and sorting and ran across this little guy. I got this as a gift eleven years ago, used it a few times, and then quit all tobacco ten years ago this Thanksgiving. I have no need for a cigar cutter, but I know there's a number of members here who could put it to use.

Rules:
You must actually be a cigar smoker who will actually put this tool to use.
You must be a member before today and have at least 50 posts.
You must have an email address in your profile.
Be in the lower 48 United States.
Post something patriotic, or funny, or both. "I'm in!" will not be considered a valid entry. Wink

Karmanator will pick the winner in about a week or so, or whenever people stop entering, whichever feels right.

I predict you will not get as many replies as a Dave Truong karma. Cool

But that looks nice, and I'm about to have my own personal cigar smoking space after a few years of having to go out to smoke. My humidors are well stocked.

I just got done watching some of the videos from last night's RNC convention - fantastic! I can't wait to light up one my Davidoff special editions to celebrate a Reagan vs Mondale stomping that I see coming!

Please put my name into your kind karma. Congratulations on your ten year anniversary being tobacco free! I'm a cigar fan, and enjoy a mild smoke in the morning with my coffee. I would put your Xicar cutter to good use!

Best regards,
Nick.

I also predict that you will be referring people to the "Read the entire post" thread very soon. Smile

These are fantastic cigar cutters. I don't need to be entered as I already have one, but thank you for offering it up!

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

It’s bad enough when people read a post and don’t reply.
To read the title of a karma thread, and not even read the post that the karma giver posted, is not just rude, it’s... I don’t even know what to say.

Nicotine free for 619 days. Please do not include me, I just couldn’t help but to reply to the ones who don’t read.

I'm in and have a nice Winador humidor.
I have my own Xikar stuff now but if I win I will refinish it in USMC style and give it to my Marine Corps buddy.
I have already refinished some golf clubs with USMC style and gave it to him and another Marine.
We have a beer and cigar once a week on average.
It would make a nice token of appreciation.

I am an infrequent but actual cigar smoker. It will go with my Xikar 3 flame lighter.

I don’t know about patriotic or funny. But the other reason I’d like to get in on this karma is I plan to use it in my new side hustle - being a mohel.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Did you hear about the cannibals that found a wrecked circus train? They wouldn’t eat the clowns because they thought they’d taste funny.

I too infrequently smoke cigars, usually only with my muskie fishing buddies (who do know their cigars; I just ride their coat tails). I do, however, like to surprise them with the occasional appearance of sophistication and I think something like this would actually impress them...

Patriotic...well, I've been watching the RNC convention on C-Span and actually stood in my living room up when Trace Adkins sang the national anthem. It always stirs me. Also, one of the buddies I fish with is an Army vet. Unfortunately, the sum total of my own military bad-assery is a couple of semesters of ROTC (they wanted me on the shooting team).
