Anyone know much about Lifeline Medical Screening? We keep getting flyers in the mail.

They sell medical screening tests for a profit. You are better off seeing your primary care physician who will order any appropriate tests that are needed.

Crappy quality of the tests performed, which ZS is right, in spite of their advertising claims can regularly be covered by insurance. Without coordination with your care also of limited utility.

A for profit scam taking advantage of the well intentioned.

My wife worked in Medicare/Medicaid fraud training for Seniors. They had a lot of complaints about them. Avoid them.

Ah.... the Wallet Biopsy as I call it.

Totally NOT Worth it.

Essentially, here's your test. Take it to your Real Doctor and as him to figure out what was done.

This program is exactly why mass random screening by imaging is not done without a valid reason or diagnosis.

Hope I wasn't unclear about my disdain for this scam of a company.

Lifeline is not the one that does the full body CT scans and imaging tests.
They do very inexpensive tests that many health insurance policies and Medicare won’t pay for without preexisting medical problems. Many of those don’t show up until it’s a catastrophic medical problem. I had the cardiovascular and stroke screenings done.
My doctor thought it was a good idea and much less than having his practice perform them.
I was happy with them and would do it again in a few years.
