In Arnold Mo this weekend and my niece works at Oberwiess. I don't like chocolate milk but my son wanted some so we got a bottle. Holy crap that is good stuff.

Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago we had Oberwiess home delivery twice a week. That's when I became a milkaholic. I loved the chocolate milk too. Even better was the peppermint ice cream around Christmas time.

Yes. Yes it is. I'm in St. Louis county but a stones throw from the meramec river. Arnold is close.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I'm lactose intolerant but I'm willing to take that risk when it comes to Oberweis milk. When I lived in Oklahoma, I would drive home to Chicagoland once a month. I would stay with friends and our unspoken deal was I would get a couple bottles of Oberweis milk in exchange for them making some jumbo brownies. It was a great combination. Expensive as you'd have to pay for the glass bottle too but definitely worth it.

The ice cream is phenomenal. If I'm wanting a hot fudge Sunday I'll take one of theirs over Ted Drews any day.
Kevin do you go to the one in Oakville? Do you know about the LEO owned donut shop right behind it. No I'm not being an ass I'm asking a serious question. Just curious if it's any good. This message has been edited. Last edited by: 1s1k,

Their skim milk tastes like whole milk, their whole milk tastes like butter and I'm afraid to try the butter. Simply the best dairy products out there. Their ice cream is awesome too.

I'm not too far from the one in St Peters. The chocolate milk is awesome. Ice cream is pretty excellent too, but for frozen desserts we generally go to Fritz's.
I'm going to have to try the egg nog.
