I understand that. I know the liturgy and the sacraments are reliable.

The thread was about pastors, and it was implied that Catholicism affords a consistency in that regard that isn't common in Protestantism.

I investigated for myself, using a controversial topic that was coincidentally timely for me. What I found was shared.

I amended my post slightly, to be both more specific and fair.

And now I have a renewed interest in the sacrament of the Eucharist. Specifically it's relation to the sacrament of Reconciliation. I'll post in the lengthy thread about it.
