I got a Uniden iWitness DC1 at walmart for $39. Out of the 6 dash cams they had, it had the best reviews online. We are going on a couple trips in the next two months, and it was time to take the dive and have the peace of mind. First impressions? Its tiny. Smaller than my gopro. Seems to take good, wide video. Ill plug it into my computer later. Turns on with the car. Turns off a bit after i turn the car off. The biggest thing i realized is how many little things i do wrong. Did i stop there? Crap im in the wrong lane. Etc. Im a careful and defensive driver. But i was just hyper aware today, i suppose. ____________________________ While you may be able to get away with bottom shelf whiskey, stay the hell away from bottom shelf tequila. - FishOn

I have the Garmin Dash Cam 35, as I drive at least 1,000 to 1,200 miles a week for work. I'm trying to figure if I drive my pov enough to justify one there, but at $40 vs $120 I might give it a try! For real? |
I use a 32gb card in mine. I keep a spare 32gb card in the car. I also keep an 8gb card in case I need to copy something for the police. Which I had to do twice when I was in Canada last fall. Not minority enough!
