They already tried that, in Germany, in the late '30's. It was called Hitler Youth groups.

Remember how that turned out?

Willis Independent School District (WISD) has broken out as a major leader
Willis is a major leader? Bwahahahahahaha!! I ride my motorcycle through Willis most weekends and it's a little village of about 5,000 people. It's a major leader in needing a good place to eat and something to do.

Additionally, Willis ISD is only a B in Texas school rating but most schools in Montgomery County are As.

My wife works in a school. There seem to be too many parents only too happy to have the school raise their children. IIRC, there’s at least one Dem presidential candidate that wants to extend the school day so that kids get all 3 of their meals at school.

And the government should provide all the tax dollars that are currently spent to educate our children back to parents in the form of a voucher that could be used at any accredited(?) school to facilitate that process. This will help determine what beliefs are archaic and what beliefs are insanity. I suspect this type of system would find Lane seeking other employment.

Amen, brother.

They’d fuck that up too and claim that we now have a pet rock shortage so taxes have to be raised.

Ted Cruz?

Pretty sure he meant Robert O’Rourke, you probably knew that though.

He isn't saying anything new from the left - "it takes a village." What is scary is that it is coming from Willis, Texas, an exit off of I-45 before I exit to go hunting in the Sam Houston Hational Forest over an hour north of Houston. That area should be blood red and not any bit blue.

Abolish the NEA and teachers unions and lobbying groups for "educators". That will remove a lot of the problems and the power that half a sissys like "Mr" Lane feel they have. Regards 18DAI

He is not being stupid, he is pushing the lesbian/strange sex indoctrination as much as possible. He know what he is doing.

"prepare their children to live in a diverse world. We are not required to protect the misguided, bigoted views of their parents."

Fortunately with Trump flipping numerous courts to conservative majority, the ability for these screwballs to have their way will be reduced. School vouchers is a great idea, 80% + of regular parents may take their education funds elsewhere, and the Lesbian/Strange Sex people will have no customers and no job.

Maybe the real solution would be to make the world less "diverse"? Unity is a good thing.

His views really aren't out of the ordinary for public education. This is what happens when you turn your children over to the state to educate/indoctrinate. Public education = socialism.

The only way to put parents back in control is for parents to take responsibility for the education of their children. This means either private education or homeschooling. The school and the teachers must know that they work for the parents.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

There are some crazy assed parents that do not "raise" aka teach values/morles or common sense.

(Cleaning the house doesn't mean piling the trash into the corner of the room. Buying the kids pot ect ...)

However, the only way to allow the good parents to "raise" their children is to also allow the bad parents to raise theirs.
