Partial dichotomy
| While on the topic, we should probably replace the hose gaskets more often than we do. In my case anyway...

I only hook up my hoses when I plan to use them. Then once I'm done, they're disconnected. |

| I have had good luck with the NeverKink hoses from Lowes. I have two that are nearly 20 years old. A third took a dump about 3 years ago, but they warrantied it for me at no charge. |

Get Off My Lawn
| We bought a custom length Eley hose a couple of years back, the best garden hose I have ever used, and in the past, spent money on Craftsman, Continental, etc. Great flexibility, doesn't kink, easy to maneuver around the yard, and very light in weight when carrying around. Very pricey, but worth it.

| You’re in Mass, close to Boston? I’d be impressed if you got Norm, Tom, Richard & Kevin to come to your house and make a episode on this topic. They do have that nice truck & enclosed cargo trailer they use to travel to peoples homes. “In todays show we go to Frayed’s house to fix an outside plumbing issue and then a segment all about water hoses and how to not get hosed.” . |

As Extraordinary as Everyone Else
| Both the Flexzilla and Yamatic are Chicom products so that’s a no go for me. They only have a 1 year warranty so that should tell you something. Consider this hose that’s made in the US and has a 10 year warranty. https://www.amazon.com/Flexon-...KK9S?ref_=ast_sto_dp

| I've been happy with Flexzilla. Cold weather use and they stay flexible.

Flexzilla is not a "Chicom product". American company, whose products are made in the USA or Taiwan. |

| Jut my opinion, I'll only buy the heavy MADE IN AMERICA hoses.... everything else is crap... including those new fangled stretchable expandomatic things that take a minute to fill up and then just as long to turn off. I needed 9ft of good hose to connect to the pressure relief outlet on a small hot water unit I was installing today and ended up buying 50ft of commercial grade Made in the USA hose and just bought two female fittings at the same time....one for the 9ft section and one to go on the 41ft roll I now have... that will last longer than me.

This is what I use, and they lay out in the AZ sun for more than a decade without deterioration. My go-to used to be Goodyear, also sold under the Craftsman name. Goodyear is now Continental/Conti-Tech. Solid brass fittings. I am really disappointed in seeing so many hoses now being sold with aluminum fittings. Galavanic corrosion makes brass->aluminum a bad choice.

Yup, as mentioned above, I'm satisfied w/ my black Conti hoses. I also use the Dixon quick disconnects (made in USA or Taiwan?) as well as Dramm (made in USA) brass hose nozzles.
