100 years ago, Sunday morning. The end of the “War to end all Wars”. Let us remember the thousands upon thousands that came home wounded, disfigured, crippled. Let us take a moment and remember those that went and never returned. The sons, brothers, fathers... The Homes that never again heard their laughter, soft word, their song. May these, and the thousands upon thousands of civilian casualties as well, now be at peace. Remember, please remember. .

Agreed And all the troops since. I got a gut kick yesterday when I got word one of my soldiers, and yes as the highest ranking in the section/platoon they are mine ( the NCO’S do the heavy lifting- and any officer worth his salt will admit so) lost his battle with cancer. I have now lost at least 6 troops ( all younger than me) since we returned from Afghanistan ! There seems to be a lot of young troops dying- makes me wonder what our generations “agent orange” will be!?
