The new bet should be whether they push the launch button in 2022 or 2023?

Fuck, yeah! That was awesome! It went pretty smoothly: tighten some bolts, replace an Ethernet switch, launch a rocket. ________________________________________ -- Fear is the mind-killer. My wife and I live in central Florida just south west of Disney world. For years since we moved here in 1999 we would stand in our back yard and watch the launches of either the space shuttle or other rockets going off. We could see this either for night launches or day launches. We were to far away to see the actual space shuttle but at night it would light up the eastern horizon and you could see the trail from the engines as it rose to space. It was neat to watch. Last night I was clicking through the TV channels when I came across Nasa TV. I did not know Artemis was being launched. I watched off and on through the evening and through the holds of the count down. When it looked like it was going to launch with 5 minutes left in the count down I woke my wife up and we sat in the back yard waiting. As the engines were lit the whole eastern sky lit up almost as tho a small sun was rising. We watched it clear the houses in our back yard and we watched it clime to space till it went behind some clouds. Every so often we could see it through the clouds but we missed the booster separation. We did capture some of the launch on our back yard Ring camera however a tree was blocking most of it. I have to tell you I had goose bumps watching this. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. I had the countdown on as I dozed off believing I would wake up in time. Luckily I could rewind the few seconds back. Boy, that thing took off since it's minus the crew of 4 and supplies for up to a month (albeit a cargo of cube sats)
