Recently, I got rid of DirecTV and have gone to Netflix and Hulu Live through an Apple 4K TV for my daily fixes, such that they are. The Netflix works great, no issues at all. The Hulu Live has what is apparently some sort of buffering issue. It will pause/freeze/go blurry. Sometimes the audio will continue while the video stops. Sometimes I can pause the stream with my Apple TV remote, then continue the stream and everything syncs up. Interestingly, if I play some movie from Hulu, there’s no such issue, it’s just the “live” content that’s affected. From what I’ve read, this has been going on since this past fall. I like many of the users I’ve read about are pissed that for $40/month, this rudimentary function hasn’t already been fixed. So my question to you guys is has anyone found a cure or are there any of you using Sling TV successfully? ———- Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.

I use a Roku for Netflix. I set my default resolution for streaming to support a 720 view. I don't know if Hulu has that ability, but it might be worth a try to see if it helps. If it doesn't, then Hulu is having trouble sending and keeping up with live TV streaming.

No resolution setting. In fact, the Hulu app has very little in “settings” when running on iOS. ———- Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.
