Years ago we were talking about a yearly P210 pistol match where every city holds a pistol match on the same day. I am hoping to attend but naturally have many questions.

I hope the man who knew all about this match will respond so I can learn.

the event is called Feldschiessen and takes place from May 23rd to May 25th. Shooting is with rifle at 300m prone or pistol at 25m or 50m standing. The competitions are commanded shooting. There are no sighters allowed.

A total of 18 shots are fired.
25m on rotary targets
3 shots single fire, shown individually
5 shots in 50 seconds
5 shots in 40 seconds
5 shots in 30 seconds

50m pistol and 300m rifle
6 shots single fire
3 shots in 60 seconds
3 shots in 60 seconds
6 shots in 60 seconds

Repetitions are not possible. Those who do not adhere to the schedule will not have time to finish. The score counts for the evaluation, not the group size. Anyone who does not follow the commands or endangers safety will be suspended. It's a lot of fun, but if you want to take part you have to work at speed and know what you are doing

Permitted pistols are Swiss regulation pistols or pistols that correspond to the regulation pattern. (SIG, Beretta, Walther, Glock etc). Maximum barrel length 120mm, open sights, no compensators.
Approved rifles are K31 / Sgw90 or Sgw 57.
Ammunition is sponsored by the government.

Foreign guests may take part in the shooting competition in company, provided they are accompanied and someone makes the weapon available to them and the local club agrees.
