Crooks again taking advantage. Did not know that such a program existed in California. Unintended results of feel good legislation. Just my two cents.

Yep. That was posted here in Sigforum as well so it's not only in California.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

California is one of 10 states with a container deposit law. The nine other are Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Oregon and Vermont.
These states seem to have something else in common, I can't quite place what it is.

jljonesOk I don't get it. Why is this illegal? If the state thinks that recycling is that good, good enough to have a law on the books, you'd think the more the better. It is about saving the planet, right?

April 15, 2017, 08:32 AM
Oat_Action_ManI just read the words "recycling fraud" in a news article. I suppose the implication is that there is a law on recycling fraud.
Yeah, I'm ready for that comet now....
