Ditto re: so young. RIP
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

83v45magnaVery sad to hear this. My deepest condolences to his family.
My first contact with him was over at Waltherforum, where he was most willing to use his considerable knowledge (especially of PP/PPK series) to help people. His transformation of a 1972 PP German police trade-in was quite an odyssey to follow. If you want to have a look, I looked it up:
Custom PP It's about 20% of the way down the page where the pics start.
I evidently had roughly guessed his age years ago and certainly did not think he would be gone so soon. Godspeed sir.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11
...But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by Him shall glory, but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. - Psalm 63:11 [excerpted] April 19, 2020, 02:22 PM
policetruckAgree, sad news. I met him once at a SigForum shoot probably about 8-9 years ago. Seemed like a good guy, we both had some russian guns to shoot.
