I've read a few articles on COSTCO and DEI, but none of them point to specific DEI policies. What's the rub? ___________________________________________ "Why is it every time I need to get somewhere, we get waylaid by jackassery?" -Dr. Thaddeus Venture

Some will boldly, loudly proclaiming with much fanfare, kick DEI to the curb with the rest of the garbage on trash day. Some will quietly and without any visible showing, "make it go away". And yet a few will try and prop it up, while it rots and stinks, pretending it is a worthy endeavor just to show the big middle finger. D.E.I. is not new. They just changed the name so they could shovel more shit. You can find anti-discrimination laws going back to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Here’s a list: Federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Laws Companies have long adopted anti-discrimination policies to prevent from being sued. It wouldn’t surprise me that large companies like Costco would keep some of these policies in place. Besides, people who’ve been around as long as I have understand that the American people can be fickle. It’s better for a company to be prepared in the even the political winds shift again.
