These assholes, they just come in spurts. Previously it was Elon Musk this and that. Now, it’s Cloud-Alert, “Your storage is full. Need to get more”. “Your payment method has expired. Update your payment here”.

Oh, btw, the Bitching Section is full. That’s why I’m over here. Razz

Does this mean the Internet is full?

I have not (yet) seen any of these "advisories" despite receiving, on a regular basis, every form of SPAM known to man. Just a matter of time I suppose.

I delete most things, likely even things that may be real.

New week, new scams.

Two hours apart I get phone calls stating my Wal Mart account is being billed almost $1600 each time for headsets of some sort. Different phone numbers, one from Greenwich NY and one from Greenwich Ct.

And since Sunday so far four requests from some random names wanting me to verify my email account.

And the week just got underway!

I spam folder them. I did get a text last week from Chase saying my credit card had been used in another town for 50 bucks at Chipotle. I called the bank and they cancelled the card, had a new one in a couple of days. There's always a bridge toll scam, an overdue fine scam, etc etc. I've been getting texts from some realtor wanting to know if I want to sell my property at some location I've never heard of. I told him I'd consider an offer on another property, and gave him the street address of a nearby prison. Did me no good, and didn't hurt him, but it made me feel better.

Yeah lately I have been getting two of those cloud storage scam emails a day. They don’t give up and it is sad there are people who fall for it.

My LinkedIn resume must be really great, because I get daily job offers via text and email.

Funny, though, I don't recall ever having a linked-in account or putting a resume anywhere online. The last resume I put together was in 1998.

I got two computerized calls last week about my Walmart account being charged for an X-Box and controllers and to call a number. I don't have a Walmart account. It was of course ignored.
