Oz_ShadowNeed rec for a rolling catalog/file bag
I think that’s the name. This needs to be as wide as a legal file but also have large open area large enough to hold multiple 4” binders squeezed in. The kind that has a large opening on top - not like a briefcase.
This would be the type a soft side briefcase could slip over the handle.
Great wheels are a must as I frequent a place with many steps and no ramps.
Ideally I would like black ballistic nylon that is expandable like carryon luggage rather than the stiffer faux leather types.
Any recommendations on something good?

220-9erCould you use a bag or case fitting your requirements with a lightweight folding luggage cart?
That would get you the best of both worlds without some of the compromises you'd have to make if they're separate items.
Something like this but maybe a little more sturdy:

Oz_ShadowNo, I already use one or two of those to take stacks bankers boxes of documents/binders. I tend to use those for the items that remain on site a few days. I wanted something more convenient for things that I take with me each day.

pace40Sounds like you're describing a wheeled litigation bag(case). Or maybe a Solo catalog case.

Jamess1I have been using something like this:
https://travelpro.com/collecti...arry-on-rolling-toteCan slide on a backpack or brief bag with the handles and roll on
All my TravelPro takes a beating and keeps rolling. And the one time had an issue with the handle, they fixed it no questions asked. Even put new wheels on. Said the old were getting worn.

jandersdSounds similar to a catelog case like this one:

AglifterIt may be overkill, but I think pelican makes cases like that.

sig2392I have two, Wenger has two wheels, and the Samsonite has four wheels they call it a spinner.
They are both computer bags that fit your description.
I like the two-wheel version going by car and the spinner going through airports.
https://www.amazon.com/Wenger-...75-8bc7-93deae8f9840https://www.amazon.com/Samsoni...s%2Caps%2C103&sr=8-1There are much larger ones out there if you need to carry more files.
Those will not fit under the seat or in the overhead bins.
