NO! There are an alarming number of “opportunities” that have been provided by “retiring” GOP Congress critters. We have to replace ALL of them and we need to win additional seats, especially in the Senate. The danger is not having an in functional congress, we already have that. The danger is loosing the majority in the House AND loosing the small margin in the Senate. The House brings impeachment charges against a sitting president. The GOP did that repeatedly against Obama, but the Dems had the majority in the Senate and never moved on their part which is the trying of those charges. What do you think this Republican’s chances are without a majority in the Senate to balance against a Dem majority in the House? Primaries are just around the corner, we need to get our research done and select some good replacements for the cockroaches that are running from the light. ———- Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup. | |||

Who knows how it will be in 9 months but right now the Democrats are worried about securing their base. To do that, they will alienate the middle. They are on the defensive after the SOTU. A full 61% approved. That sounds middling, but it’s not. Anything past 50% after a year of media meddling and skewing the news is disastrous for the Dems. If not for the polls predicting an easy win for Shillary, she would have cheated her way into the White House. The Slavers (formerly known as Dems) believed their own propaganda and relaxed their voter fraud efforts. They will not make that mistake again anytime soon.
