apprenticeChatGPT plus subscribers data breach
If anyone has further info please chime in.
Per my Keeper app's notification:
ChatGPT Suffers Breach Exposing Personal Data
OpenAI’s ChatGPT has suffered a breach that exposed the personal data of its ChatGPT Plus subscribers.
The breach occurred when OpenAI discovered a bug in its system that allowed users to see each other’s personal information and chat query history.
Exposed data includes full names, email addresses, last four digits of credit card numbers with expiration dates and payment addresses.
OpenAI officials have notified the affected users and stated that they are confident that there is not an ongoing risk to users’ data.

Shaql...and that's why I didn't sign up.
Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

konata88Ironic. Shouldn't one of the first questions asked of this terminator seed been "are you secure?" How secure are you? Can someone breach private data?

1. You don't have to sign up to "plus" to use ChatGPT. 2. Can happen to any system. Has happened to many. Are you therefor not signing up to anything on-line?

sleepla8er.
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to use ChatGPT to write code to break into computer systems.

Another not so great use of AI...

IrishWindMaybe it was ChapGBT, tired of writing essays for lazy students or crappy fan fiction, became self aware and is fighting back against those who abused it's programing.
