Most of the pack currently seeking the nomination also had lots of support and positive news coverage is a given. However running for office gives everyone many more opportunities to let their real personality shine through. I am pretty sure Mooch is not a pleasant or caring person. I would also bet the press could never conceal the real her if she were running against Trump

This has been my thought ever since they started this overly inclusive primary process. Let the 23 show how much the Dems love democracy and then drop in a clean ringer, at the last second, undamaged from the debates and primaries.
It would fit their strategy of "win at all costs".

IMO if she runs she will be elected. She would get almost all democrat, many/most women and minority, and basically all negro votes. She's even more electable than her husband was. I have always felt she will run in 2020. I hope I'm wrong.

I'd be careful here. She is the only person who could beat Trump. Sure, her supporters are idiots, the kind of people who watch The View, get their news from Jimmy Kimmel, etc. But their votes count as much as reasonable people's votes, and they're a lot easier to get.

To be honest, I don't think Trump really cared about winning when he first got into the primary race, but rose to the occasion when it became clear he was the one. The same could happen with MO. We should all pray the Dems nominate one of the current nutbag candidates, so Trump will easily win. He may beat MO, but it would be a real squeaker, at best.

Former first lady Michelle Obama is resisting calls for her to run for president, saying there's "zero chance" that she will seek the Oval Office.

In a new interview published in Amtrak's magazine The National, Obama sat down with 12-year-old journalist Hilde Lysiak to promote her Better Make Room campaign aimed at engaging college students.

Lysiak pressed Obama about seeking the highest office in the land, something she has previously expressed no interest in.

"A lot of people want you to run for president. You’ve publicly said that you aren’t interested, but everyone says that until they actually run," Lysiak said. "Just between us, if you thought the country needed you and you thought you could really help our nation, is there even a one percent chance you’d consider running?"

"Just between us, and the readers of this magazine — there’s zero chance," Obama responded. "There are so many ways to improve this country and build a better world, and I keep doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives. But sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office will never be one of them. It’s just not for me."

The interview appeared as liberal filmmaker Michael Moore urged the former first lady to run for president following Wednesday night's Democratic debate.

"She is a beloved American and she would go in there and she would beat him," Moore told an MSNBC panel. "She would beat him in the debates, he wouldn’t be able to bully her, he wouldn’t be able to nickname her.”

Trump would tag MO all over the place, drop more than one nickname and would crush her in a debate using her failed husband’s policies. Christ, that’s what the Dems were doing in their last debate with Sleepy Joe.
