...it's 65 degrees...I'm having a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and listening to Paul Cardall on the IPod...what a good way to end a day Smile...it doesn't get much better than this...

A prayer of thanksgiving to be able to enjoy this Smile

I didn't have my feet up, but it was also 65 degrees here and I drank 4 Blue Moons getting the pool ready for the season. Didn't catch a buzz and I am sure it can be better than this. not that it was bad, but I can think of many things that could make it better than what I was experiencing.....Just saying.

Is it a wonderful world or are you sitting on the dock of the bay?

Vacation this week at Casa Kablammo. Last night I drank a small pond mint juleps, watched Ugestu, then stayed up until 3:00 AM watching YT covers of the song Sakiyuki, originally sunk by Kyu Sakamoto. The elders here may remember it. I shan't interject the tragic in the thread but may post in the Lair. It was a maudlin debache and indulgence; its a beautiful world.

I will end with this...I just took a stroll around my back yard...my neighbors trimmed their lights...there is not a cloud in the sky (only contrails lit by the moon)...the moon is above the tree line and Jupiter is rising and bright...my yard work is done...

I shall go to bed...and will hit the Hardee's in the morning and I will hit our range to shoot with my peeps...

Good night SIGForum Razz Smile Smile

My morning was spent with the grandsons as my wife watches them while moms work. This afternoon, picked up S-I-L's truck at the dealership as he got home after it closed today. Spent the remainder of the afternoon raking some leftover leaves and mowing, mainly to clean up the yard as the grass was growing spotty especially in the back.

Put the infant swing out in one of the trees and put a tire swing up for the oldest. Got lazy tonight, should have finished painting the living room, maybe tomorrow night. Don't work until Thursday.

My drinking tonight was a Mexican Coca-Cola, I know pretty tame. Rough life being retired.

Sounds like a fine way to end the day.

Hey, are you going to shoot the TN State match?

You retired fellas sure know how to make a guy jealous!

Spent last weekend in Montana, pretended to be retired while looking at some real estate and cruising around Yellowstone. I'm going to just close my eyes and pretend I have my feet up...I'll really have to work at pretending it is 65 degrees!

I remember having one of those days ... January 2016. Wink

I was enjoying Sam Adams at basement 57˚ temperature and I remember thinking Wow, this beer is delicious. How relaxing to be here in a snug home with a tasty beer. Current GF is n/s n/d; those "days" may be behind me, but good memories remain.

I’m currently on my porch, feet up, listening to the bees buzz and birds chirp. Got a nice cigar (which I don’t do much of anymore) and the breeze is gentle. Waiting on a friend to come over so we can cut up some deadfall out of the woods and his kids can enjoy a fire pit in their back yard tonight.

For all the bitching I do I should be ashamed. Hope everyone else can get some relaxing time soon to reflect on the good things. Take care all my invisible friends. Smile

I'm hoping to Rolan...but it will come down to the week that I will be in Florida with family this October...it's still in the early planning stages right now. I am planning on shooting at the 1st Aunnual "Boom Town Roundup" with the Tennessee Mountain Marauders on Jun 30th (5th Saturday) in Ringold...that should be a good shoot. If you can, join us Smile...I missed not being on the same posse with you and "The Krappy Gang" last time...

Today is the first really perfect Spring day this year. Mid-70's, scattered clouds, copious sunshine.

Had to go to town to get some parts. Took the bike. Got lost on the way home, went 70-ish miles out of my way.

Hate when that happens, but what the hell, I'm retired, no schedule, no job, nothing to do and all day to get it done. Razz Wink
