That is sort of my point. We should not be sending our coal to china to empower our enemy. We should be using it here to better serve Americans and American workers.
Don't disagree with that, but...

I disagree, mine all that coal and sell it to them. It's a resource we can't use in this country I want to make money off of it instead. Money can also be a pretty decent resource.

It's almost guaranteed that Biden and crew will obstruct development, but it will be a great opportunity for the next Trump administration to grow the economy and make the country less dependent on foreign providers.

A couple of years ago I invested in Lithium Americas and have been following their effort to mine a huge deposit in Nevada. It looks like they have a go, finally. They already have an operational mine/plant in Argentina

The stock has not been doing well lately, they split it into two separate companies

On October 3, 2023, the former Lithium Americas Corp. reorganized into two independent publicly traded companies into what is now Lithium Americas (Argentina) Corp. (“Lithium Argentina”) (TSX: LAAC) (NYSE: LAAC) and Lithium Americas Corp. (“Lithium Americas (NewCo)”) (TSX: LAC) (NYSE: LAC), implemented by way of statutory plan of arrangement (the “Separation”). Following is an archive from the former-Lithium Americas. If you're looking for information on Lithium Argentina, visit their website at www.lithium-argentina.com.

Here is a write up on the NV mine

There is also a big project to extract lithium from the Salton Sea. GM invested pretty heavy in this one

Just because you can,
doesn't mean you should

There have been similar claims about this area and company for several years.
Most are in publications that are dubious at best.
Looking up the stock, it appears to be a penny stock so this could be a pump and dump scheme.
