Anyone ever have a zit on your eye?
That's my latest "gee I have never seen that before" malady. Looks bore like a blister.
It's about 3/16" diameter and full.

Saw my optometrist about it a week and a half ago and he gave it a name. No way I can repeat it though.

I still can't get in to see the doc that will take care of it till Thursday.

Annoying as Hell, and it's on my good eye :-(

A hot tea bag will take care of it.

I used to get styes in my eyes when I was a teen. I think they are a blocked tear duct or something, but seemed like a zit right on the bottom eye lid. It got so clogged and swollen once they were gonna lance it to drain it. Gave it one more day and it broke on it's own. Nasty horrible experience. Is this thing on your eyeball?

These go to eleven.

On the white part of my eye on the inboard side.

The hot compresses have not worked yet.

Oh damn!!! On the eyeball itself? I got nothing for you.

Yep, hot compresses are good for styes but not for this. Anti-inflammatory drops like Alaway are best. Did you doc prescribe anything?

"Pingueculae are small yellow-white bumps on the eyeball. They're deposits of fat, calcium, or protein."

As with vinnybass, I'm in the hot moist teabag compress camp. The deposit will reabsorb into the eyeball. Don't try to lance it Wink

The doc prescribed some steroid drops.
Can’t wait till Thursday to get rid of it.

I imagine there will be some type of healing process after that though.

Yikes, that's rough. I've had an eye sty, but never something on the eyeball itself.

It's like I always say, I'd rather have peanut brittle crumbs on my face than flies in my eyes.

Yes. I had one once, in my 20s, very irritating and painful. Lasted about two months, (from onset to full recovery) and I was prescribed drops (likely steroidal) for it.

It's always a good idea to look for videos on youtube about your maladies. It'll fill the time between now and Thursday.

I hope it goes away soon.

I'm sensitive to eye issues having had cataracts in my 40s and then seasonal allergies that affected my eyes with lots of discomfort.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
