Hey Michigan! Kid Rock for Senate 2018
There is talk of Dwayne Johnson running for president....we could have Senator Rock AND President Rock. That would totally rock!

Back around the turn of the century, Kid Rock came to Germany in a USO tour. From all accounts, he was a class act and very personable. Of course, these two traits overqualify him as a senator.

Why not? Reagan. The Governator. Ventura. Franken. Bono. Thompson. Bradley.

All came out of the entertainment business. Some good, some bad.

He doesn't like the chinese grilling products, is a patriotic supporter of the USA, does a lot of touring with military, lots of charitable work, and a hell of a musician...

Good, hopefully he gets a good campaign manager and actually beats Stabenow by a huge margin.

Agree with many here - he has been beneficial to Detroit's better causes and Michigan in general.

He is not tainted like Peters and Stabenow - both who are robots for the Dums.

I am Ok if he runs - He would be above the bottom we are at now.

He's got his own Detroit brewery, he has to be a decent guy.

And he actually knows where the Yoop is. And comes here and actually spends time here. Our other state "representatives" just zoom in and out. Powered by hot air.

Mr. Peteroniman
"So, Kid Rock for Senate 2018. His campaign slogan should be “You’ve done a lot worse,” because we have. Sure, maybe he’ll “Start an escort service for all the right reasons/And set up shop at the top of Four Seasons,” but at least this time we will have elected a pimp instead of another ho."

To be replaced by a former drug dealer / rapper?

Mind you, if this is what it takes to pick up the seat, I can live with it. But it seems like a hell of a compromise.

I'd like to watch him filibuster.
