Superjuice
I love fresh made lemonade. Been trying several methods over time, including "oleo saccharum". In my quest to make it better, I stumbled upon "superjuice" videos on you tube.

When I made my last batch of a citrus drink, I accidentally made a concentration of the oils of the peels. Way too much for my recipe. I didn't have enough of the citric acid or the malic acid to do it properly per online instructions.
I also, didn't blend the peels either. So I figured I didn't need as much of those acids.
Guessing at the amounts, it came out very good.
That method does indeed make a lot of juice!

I reuse the peels...some are candied as my kid loves it. I use some of the candied in my hot tea. Adds a nice flavor.

My kid is trying to make an air freshner with some of them too.

Anyone here ever use the superjuice method? Any tips you can share with a newbie to this adventure?

The one tip I picked up from trial & error is to peel the Zest off the citrus be going in a spiral around the fruit. Not like how Kevin Kos does in his video.

As you cut, use the length of the cutting edge.
Start with the edge nearest the handle. As you spiral around, slide the cut away from the handle. Allowing the blade to slice. The combined motions make for a very easy cut.

In other words, kind of like how you would peel an apple. Taking only the thin skin off.

This removes the least amount of pith.
