I thought I would stop by and say hello
It's been quite a spell since I have opened SigForum and thought I would take a peek and see how you guys and gals are doing.

The wife and I are doing very good.

I have been staying busy with my coin collecting and general grandpa stuff.

Dee decided to go to college (at 51) and she is going to graduate from Wilmington University this coming fall.

We are in the process of building a home in Florida that is on schedule to be completed this July. Just North of Lakeland in farming country. 5 peaceful acres. We hope. Smile

Hope everyone is doing well here.

I have been reading some of the postings and enjoy seeing there is still a great camaraderie here.

Also wave a hand at the moderators who have always done a great job here. Hope you guys are all doing well. Especially good to see the Eagle on his perch. Hello Para. Wink

Good to hear from you, but I can’t believe you’re leaving the rest of us here in the Free State!

Razz

You’ll have to invite us down for a house warming.

Have you figured out where you’re putting the berm for your new backyard range yet?

I predict that there will be many suggestions and statements about the law made here, and some of them will be spectacularly wrong. - jhe888

Haha...You would be welcome to come down anytime. And we know exactly where that backyard range is going. Razz About 400 ft from the house there is a creek that runs through the property (equipped with the rural gator of course) We cut a nice path along there for a perfect 100 yard rifle range.

I've ordered a 20 x 30 ft pole barn equipped with double wide garage doors on both sides to setup range gear. Really looking forward to setting everything up.

You're building close to my home town of Winter Haven. If you're in Polk County, you have one hell of a sheriff! Grady Judd ain't no joke. He's a very serious LEO. Check out the PCSO FB page. Sometimes it's pretty hilarious.

Same here, don't be a stranger. We miss you!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
