How could the police not do anything until he showed up? The cause for arrest had nothing to do with him showing up. Last article I read said the arrested wasn't named due to not being charged (yet).

Never had to deal with a rebellious teen, Skins? No, not "an overall fail on the parent's part". Dad's doing better than you give him credit for. He recognizes his daughter is a problem child and is monitoring her carefully, then taking appropriate corrective action where he can. Sounds like the police were zero help as this crime was brewing. Many dads would've backed off at that point when the authorities told him there was nothing they could do. Others would've overreacted getting themselves into serious trouble with the law. But this dad didn't fail in either of those ways. What he did do took some thinking, some courage, and a lot of commitment to his daughter, and he did what he did with appropriate restraint, within the law. He's a smart man, who clearly loves and goes the extra mile for a daughter who appears to be rebellious, ungrateful, maybe even snotty/hateful. Parenting can be tough. I think that this guy deserves a pat on the back, not an accusation of failure. Thanks, Sap

Romeo was lucky he didn't get in the tent with the 15 year old. About the time he got old shorty unlimbered that hussy's dad could have blasted him with a 12 gauge.
