He shot guns this weekend, first time in more than a decade since he lived with me.

He’s leaning towards a more retro (FSB) AR. But we’re still sorting it out. He wants to come live with me in Wisconsin for his senior year of high school and attend the local community college for his classes.

I told him we’ll build him one while he’s there.

It’s a start!

Leaning towards building him a nice BCM mid length with Magpul MOE furniture.

Maybe be a graduation gift with a pistol of his choosing. He’d likely lean towards a single-action revolver over a 320 or G19.

He likes my DWX compact but this is high school graduation, not college Big Grin maybe a 1911 to go with the AR. Then his “American male starter pack” will be complete.

Is that PSA, HRK?
Disregard, just saw the link.

I might better ease him into the 2A movement lol.

I would think that a Trumpceiver would have fire selections of "Safe" and Winning".

"Wisconsin" ?

You're back in the Recruit Company Commander slot?

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Yes, Sir. Volunteered, rescreened, and should be headed up in August or so.

I really like the Seekins lower receivers. Also the POF complete piston
uppers as they need so little maintenance and are extremely accurate.

Glad to hear it, op. It's a great hobby to share together. BCM makes great parts and will last a good long time.

After my son graduated paramedic school and got his national certification, I built/gave him an Aero Precision 16" carbine. I put some upgrades in it like the CH, BCG and drop in trigger unit. He thought it was awesome, as he has shot some of mine and has wanted one for years. I wish my daughter felt the same as I would gladly build her one.
