Jim Scoutten Shooting USA has died
I met him years ago the last time Shot Show was in Orlando. Seemed like a great guy...

I believe he did some Brownell's maintenance vids. Some of the best out there. Still today.

Keeping ‘em in the ten ring.

He was one of if not my favorite host. Seemed like a genuinely good guy.

Of all the people I saw and met at Shot Show throughout the years, He, along with Gunny were the two that I was sort of star struck by. Probably because his show was the first gun related show I ever saw and I was a kid that loved guns. In my brief interactions with him, he was a nice guy. Truly one of the good guys.

Thankfully, his son's doing a great job filling his shoes on Shooting USA.

You could tell Jim loved what he did.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

I was looking for some of the very early episodes of Shooting USA but 2004 is the oldest I could find. Brings back memories.

Very sad to hear of his passing.
I always enjoyed the show and his presentation style.

May he Rest In Peace.
