Not sure if she owns one but maybe enough money to buy a nice work watch.
3 to 5 hundred might cover it.
What kind of nursing will she be doing.

The stethoscope is a great idea, just be sure she hasn't already invested in one. If not, consider getting it personalized/engraved.

Another thing I just though of, a gift card to a store that sells the kind of footwear that nurses wear.
I know a lot of nurses are on their feet for long hours and need something comfortable. Good footwear can be very expensive.

My daily carry at work. Foldable trauma sheers, they get used a lot on a daily basis, all the cool RN’s carry them.

Gift card for footwear and scrubs.

Kids these days likely already have their smart watch with their phone but if she doesn’t I’d recommend that.

Headlamp with red light is always a good option to not wake sleeping patients. Keeps both hands free for tasks.

Boxes of pens.

From $101 to $999 would be a nice amount. Probably not $666 though. I would think a nice $
amount would depend on how long have they been in a relationship, but I think I'd do $500 tops, but most likely $200.

The Littmann stethoscope is a great choice. How about compression socks, a quality retractable ID holder, retractable pen holder, good trauma shears, a bunch of cheaper back up shears in case her good pair get misplaced/taken out of service until cleaned, personalized Yeti coffee tumbler, a good quality tote bag that can fit into a work locker. A quality mace for walking to the car. I’m not sure if this could be useful or not but a signature stamp. Neck pillow for short naps on break. Magnetic hooks if she will have the usual steel locker. Gift cards to her favorite spa for the much needed massages. Noise cancelling headphones/earbuds for 2 minutes of peace when possible.
