Old .220 Swift Ammo Boxes and brass
I inherited these. I think some of them are 50 years old (or older). They are all full of .220 spent brass (I am not certain if the spent brass matches the type identified on the box). Is there any collectible value for the boxes? I've not been able to find much information online.

A narrow market, but there are folks that would be interested.

Shops, restaurants, bars and the like that are full of antiques, like a Cracker Barrel.

Perhaps a few firearms collectors, or others that collect such memorabilia.

I know in the "classic car" world, some folks will pay quite a bit for old packaging.

Do a search on eBay and you'll get an idea of what is being listed. If you have an account, put a bunch of items that are similar in your "watch list" or shopping cart and then see what they went for when they sell.

Hope that helps.

Thread drift. Old LGS I used to frequent for years had a pre 64 super grade, barreled action in 220 swift on their back wall rack for 20 years. About every 6 months I’d ask the owner if he wanted to sell it. Nope. Then one day it was gone. Didn’t ask what happened to it. But I would have liked to gotten my hands on it

just remember, you cannot sell brass on ebay,

the boxes with out pencil or pen marks and stickers are desirable,

the brass itself will sell on Gunborker , and sell ,

looks like used brass is 25 cents and up a round for older stuff

So when did they change the rules about selling brass and bullets?
