Just to add: Your image (GIF, JPEG, PNG, etc.) must be hosted on a public web site. You can't just upload an image like you do for your avatar.

So the data between the IMG tags is the URL to the image, including its file extension.

One way to learn how to do such things:

* Find a post that’s doing what you’d like to be able to do.
* Hit the reply-with-quote icon.
* A window will open with plain text that will serve as an example.
* Then close that just-opened window since you don’t actually want to reply.

I'm attempting to figure this out also.
Copied this from a quote box then pasted. Copied img to img leaving off /quote.
But still not getting saving pic to outside source then posting here.
