We can have them doing this bit of cultural interpretation at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I for one am glad Boston Dynamics did not choose the Mick Jagger and David Bowie collaboration of Dancing in the Street to highlight the robots moves.

Don't get too fond of them. One day, before too long, it's gonna be us or them. Instead of admiring how cute they're becoming, we need to be figuring out ways to defeat them.

And no, I'm not kidding, not at all.

Spot me up? Its "Start Me Up". Which I believe has a naughty interpretation. I dont think the robots know that!

A kindred soul! I never plan on hunting an elephant, but I've got a bit of 416 Rigby with solids. Also a few cases of 30-06 black tip for some Garands. Terminator killers, all of it.

Friends think I'm nuts. We'll see.

A better proactive solution might be to look closer at who is designing and building these robots now. Look how close Sarah Connor came to stopping it. Cool

Shutter these robot companies now.

Regulate them stricter than nuclear weapons.

We will, if we're as smart as we think we are, or we will rue the day...

Boston Dynamics hasn't, but Ghost Robotics has.

And here's some more Ghost Robotics work.

God bless America.

I watched Quigley Down Under last night. I think that Sharpe's would be quite effective. Time to start saving.

While I don’t think these things will ever become truly self aware and “decide” to do anything, they can obviously be programmed to carry out complex maneuvers without direct oversight. And imagine a lack of them under manual control like we’ve seen with drones. Armor them up, give them a 1000 round load out with even a semi-auto weapon and these things would be truly formidable. Terrifying even. The leftist trash wouldn’t need to worry whether or not we would be willing to fire on troops with these things on the loose.

Come on man. They need to just have the robot walk real slow, phone in hand, looking down and bumping into shit. Or put a seat/wheel like a video game chair/wheel setup with a screen in front of it with the robot looking down at the phone and swerving all over the road. Do it right got damnit!

The series Black Mirror had an entire episode about that:
