A friend of mine was a close friend of Andy's. So I heard lots about Andy from him. You might not have liked his offbeat comedy-- taste is always subjective-- but, no, Andy was not crazy. There is a world of difference between being creatively eccentric and clinically psychotic.

Late night comedy has become Late Night HATE! And comedy in general is dead. Been dead for afew years now.
