Anyone been to Redbird Recreational Area in Linton Indiana??
Looking for a place within 4 hours of Central Ky that has some easy off road trails for Full Size Stock 4x4 vehicles.
Looking to introduce my 5 year old to a little bit of off-roading.
I found this RedBird place that seems like it may fit th bill.

I have not been there so I can't comment, but I do have another option. Have you considered Turkey Bay at Land Between the Lakes? It has some pretty views of the lake, and trails that range from stock friendly to somewhat technical.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

Was not aware of that option.
I’ll look into it.

Have you actually been there?? Just looking for some simple off-road trails big enough for the Expedition.

I asked around & nobody I know has been to Redbird. My sister suggests Haspin Acres in Laurel, IN. It is more towards the mid to south East. (I think) part of IN. They have a website, just google it. Over 750 acres basically just for off-roading.

Thanks. It is about 45 minutes closer so that is a plus. Though it seems to be geared a bit more towards a little more serious offroading than I am looking for at the moment judging from their youtube video for their trail ride section.

I sent them an e-mail to see if they have any trails that would accommodate a stock Expedition.
