HRK.
The new budget goes into effect at 12:00 EST July 1. Advise to recon My Safe Florida Home before then, practice getting on the site, and be prepared to be on your computer at 11:55 EST JUNE 30 and keep trying. That is what the wife did. At midnight it went active, she got on and approved. She did not have to have any prior window estimates.
The state allocated $280 million for this program in the current budget. It goes fast!

$280,000,000 divided by $10,000 is only 28,000 people. Which sounds like a lot until you realize that the entire state is your competition. And they’re at least as motivated as you to grab that ten grand. Our energy rebate program had a similar problem.

My elderly mom got on some list for a government program to help with a few things. They are very low income older home. She was ‘approved’ nearly 2 years ago, after jumping through many hoops.

The may get some windows installed before this winter, hopefully. A few things were done, moves kinda slow.

I agree, but how practical is that with a brick house?
