Based on RogueJSK's Karma Thread here, I went on militaryuniformsupply.com and bought two of the shirts that he was karmaing off. Based on his "they are large" info, I bought the "L" and they fit perfectly. I am a 44+ chest which means normally a XL to a 2XL in some brands, so these things are sized huge. $20 each is a pretty good deal.

They are new in package, and are nicely made. The beauty of them as a range shirt is that the shoulders and arms are padded with removable foam pads. This is pretty cool as they provide some comfort if you are shooting prone. I don't think that the shoulder padding will do much for rifle recoil, as it seems more designed provide protection from pack straps or pad the weight of a plate carrier, but still, there is some padding there also.

I have a similar assault shirt from 5.11. I look fucking awesome in it, but I've been hesitant to wear it because it just seems sooooo tacti-cool.

I'll wear mine on my range at home, and when hunting. Besides, I live in camo-land, west of Orlando. Half of the crowd in Tractor Supply is wearing camo on any given day. Where in Florida are you?

We also wear heavy leather pull-on work boots with shorts, but that's another story. It's a central Florida thing!

'Combat Shirts' are very practical range wear in the summer months.

I took a week-long class in the south, in the summer, wearing cotton t-shirts...

...it was a miserable experience. So, I went looking for something that was good at wicking moisture and I did not mind getting dirty/roughed up. Thus, my purchasing some combat shirts. Fast forward to another class, in the summer, in 90+ temps w/ very high humidity. Everyone wearing cotton was soaked and about to drop. Those of us in athletic shirts (Under Armor) or combat shirts were not hurting as badly (it still sucked).

Thanks ArtieS. Big Grin Just popped for an XL as I normally wear 2XL.

I also noted that they're on amazon for $10 more. Reviews are consistently good save the noted sizing issue. Smile

Received it today. Despite having ordered it on the Military Uniform Supply page it was shipped by Amazon.

Not quite as large as you folks described. I might have been better with the 2XL vice XL. Outside of that, quite nice. Smile

I just returned mine today. I'm normally a 2XL but on others suggestions, I ordered an XL. My mistake! Mad

Preparing to return mine as well. Oh well.
Contacting Military Uniform Supply as there is no amazon order to return it there despite being shipped from Amazon. Would have liked to use Kohl's drop off service. Will see what MUS has to say.

First time in memory that I've been lead astray here. Then again who knows... maybe a different batch / lot?

These have been popular with the SF guys at Bragg. The 7th SFG guys, when going down to Central/South America have been allowed to wear.
