Having dinner with the wife on vacation and right next to my wife is a couple of guys having a beer. I paid little attention to them. Wife mentioned all the F bombs they were dropping. I turned to her just as Brian was talking. Instantly I knew his voice. I looked and said, “Holy shit is that Brian Johnson!!?” He chatted with us for a few minutes. He declined taking a picture as he said then it gets posted, people see where he is and show up. Turns out he lives here and frequents this restaurant.

He was super nice, shook my hand. AC/DC was my all time favorite growing up. I was starstruck Thunderstruck.

Did you buy him a drink? You could have said, “Have a drink on me”. I’ll bet he’s never heard that before. That’s cool that you bumped into him while you were on a vacation.

He was wearing a baseball hat. He was about done when I met him, had his bill already. Otherwise I would have bought him a drink. I’m just really happy about meeting him. I’ve seen them in concert 14 times and never met any of the band.

That's pretty cool. Glad to hear he was pretty relaxed about meeting you.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

I have the same question.

I have never heard AC/DC described as metal. Nowadays, they actually count as classic rock.

I bet it was cool meeting him. Seems like a good guy. I found this YouTube clip of him and Billy Joel at Billy’s motorcycle shop, which I had no idea about. https://youtu.be/iE2AKS4PQxc

Never heard of him, though I have heard of the band. Never heard their music but saw the clips on this thread and it's just not my type of music.

Sounds like a couple of ignorant, low class clods, given your initial reason for noticing them-the F bombs your wife said they were dropping.

I understand the reasons for using profanity, but in public, in a restaurant setting, with men and women (children?) present, using the F bomb as you describe suggest trash or just a drunk, regardless of who the user may be.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Sounds like they were at the bar..."Having dinner with the wife on vacation and right next to my wife is a couple of guys having a beer."

Regardless, No where near enough info to discern that they're 'trash or just a drunk'!

Just a suggestion if you don't know who this is, who the band is and/or don't like the music you probably should just move on to the next thread.
It just shows your ignorance and derails the positive vibe of the thread.
Just a suggestion. Eek
