This morning Biden awarded MOH to Col Ralph Pucket
At almost the exact time that Biden was pinning medal on Ralph, I got email notifying me that another of my closest friends and classmate had passed away at 9AM PDT. John Hemphill also had 2 DSC s plus 6 BSM/v,20 Air Medals,4 purple hearts,3 Silver Stars, CIB w/2 Stars, and 2 DSMs (plus all the other stuff like MSM, LM, foreign trinkets etc.)and retired as Maj Gen. two notches higher than Ralph. Puckett was class of '49 we were '51 but I am same age as Ralph.
