Looks like cheap stuff for cheap prices. I'm going to break a few router bits so I may as well break cheap ones.

I tried to order something there but my city is not on their list so I can't choose anything but "Other" as my city. Makes no sense.

New Castle, PA doesn't exist to them.

I'd really like to place an order but they just don't have my city on their list. Why make it a drop down list instead of just letting me type my city name??

If you have to ask, I think you know the answer.

AliExpress Reviews

AliExpress Review and Complaints

Is AliExress a scam?

I have no experience with AliExpress, but have had the bad experience of placing an Internet order from one of these China base companies with no offices in the U.S.

Ask yourself, how profitable is it for a company to send me a router bit from China?
They must be making money, why is it cheaper than dealing with a U.S. Based company?

Why/how are you going to "break a few router bits?"

I've had no problem with them and i've placed probably a dozen or so orders. Ranging from 20.00 to 1500.00 items. Other than long shipping at times it has been fine.

Regards,

P.

Buying cheap ones from China makes it much easier.

Quite a few times, specifically for surveillance camera gear. Much like Amazon, the individual sellers are who you have to be careful of.

I only use those who will accept Paypal and only use DHL for shipping and have had no problems.

I was just thinking about posting about my recent experience.

My son has a little sony powershot camera. Several of the buttons on the back of the camera quit working. They are all on one board. I looked on ebay for a new piece the camera really isn't worth much so not a lot of replacement parts available.

The only place I found the new part was aliexpress. It was about $22. A lot considering the camera was only about $80 new. All the used parts I found were at least $15.

I rolled the dice. It probably took about a month to get it. I received exactly what I ordered and it works perfectly.

One positive experience for you.

I ordered some flashlights from them a few years ago. Super cheap really bright ones. Took a bit to get here. But worked okay. I've still got one going strong.

I have and havent had a problem. I've used disposable credit cards there, and have eventually gotten my stuff. Wasn't overdue, it just takes a while from China.

"Disposable credit card", now that's a great idea.

My bank allows you to request one-time-use random credit card numbers for your card, through their online banking website.

It's valid for one online purchase, and it's then shut off. So even if someone steals that number, that number is no longer good, and they cannot charge anything else to that credit card.
