"we've gotta roll with the punches, learn to play all of our hunches
Making the best of what ever comes our way
Forget that blind ambition and learn to trust your intuition
Plowing straight ahead come what may

i don't know what it's like now, but when I lived / worked there, Puerto Rico politics was filled with equal parts corruption and inefficient bureaucracy.

"standing in the middle of a Costco" is a money line.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Well worth watching. The guy with the grey hair and mustache looks familiar. Didn't he do a long TV special on opening up a vault once?

Notice the cat purring at the end was in stereo, phasing from speaker to speaker?

I'd like to hear President Trump rolling down there (by messenger) and telling her, "You're fired!"

The communist bitch cried when F Castro died.

Translation: "Today departs my commander Fidel Castro to the arms of our Lord, it hurts a lot because we had concerted alliances. Puerto Rico needed Fidel Castro for our liberation.", tearfully expressed by Carmen Yulin Cruz. 11/26/2016 Claridad.

Fwiw, Claridad is the communist party weekly newspaper in PR.

I don't know why anyone believes anything Leftists say. Once we know they are Leftists we should ignore them and remove the from power and influence.
