I don't know if this has been mentioned, but if you get or have a Verizon Wireless Unlimited plan or 5G, you can sign up for Disney+ free for a year. Thought I'd pass it along, we just activated it today as an existing customer. You just have to go to your Verizon account and add Disney+. There's been some discussion in the Mandalorian thread over in The Lair. As I posted there, it's fine for a free service, but I wouldn't sign up for it out of pocket right now unless you have little kids in the home. Disney children's stuff is ~90% of the content right now. (But if you do have little kids, you'll get a lot of mileage out of this service right now.) Otherwise, other than being able to rewatch the Marvel films and the cheesy TV series (Agent Carter and Agents of Shield), or rewatch the Star Wars films and the "for-kids-but-not-exclusively" TV series (Clone Wars and Rebels), The Mandalorian is really the only more mature-oriented new offering right now. There are a number of new adult-ish Marvel series in the works, but they're set to debut over the next several years. Also, the Disney+ software is still a bit wonky. Besides the well-publicized connection issues due to higher-than-expected demand, it's missing some key functionality that we've come to expect from streaming services. Most notably, it doesn't track your progress in a movie/episode, or within a series. You have to remember where you left off in that series, or within that film/episode, and manually select the right episode, and manually track back to your stopping point within it. (I don't know if this is another bug, or if they've just actually left out that basic feature for some reason.)

It does look more geared towards kids, luckily that's right in my wheel house at the moment. My kids are 6 and 4, with a bun in the oven. The little ones are freaking out, I could care less myself, but it's fun watching them get so excited. ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, was just a freight train coming your way...

Well, it is Disney, isn't it? Yeah, my three year old is having a blast with everything she can watch on Disney+. I must admit though that I find the little warnings that Disney felt the need to put on every classic cartoon a bit hilarious if not a little annoying as well. Stuff like warning about "outdated cultural depictions" for Dumbo and the Aristocats, or warning about scenes that may depict tobacco use. But at least everything has been released in its original, unedited form (except for the original Star Wars Trilogy, grrrr ). ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

I did catch that on Peter Pan, something about Tobacco depiction. It's funny watching the old ones, Hook shooting a guy for singing and annoying him, the kids talking about fighting the injuns. ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, was just a freight train coming your way...

Thanks, I signed up for the NatGeo stuff, Disney and comics aren't my thing. But there's some good stuff on there. I'll take it for free.
