For sure- there is nearly no resistance in space- most empty space really is just that. Interstellar space may contain as little as 1 atom of any kind (most likely hydrogen) per cubic centimeter. Without intervention from a collision or gravity influence from a large body, very little forward momentum will be lost over time. Over millions if not billions of years.
